The "K" family at the Palace of Fine Arts | Kim Lind, family photographer on location in San Francisco

The morning we met for our photo session in San Francisco, something I never expected happened.  It's was warm and clear with not a trace of fog!  It was almost hot out...pretty rare at 9am in the morning in San Francisco.  Needless to say, it was beautiful morning and I certainly enjoyed my time with the "K" family!

Thanks, "K" family for a fun SF session!

Welcome, baby Mason! | Kim Lind, on location newborn photographer, Danville, CA

Baby Mason was just one week old for his newborn session, and what a perfect little guy he was!  It was a warm day, so we spent a lot of time outside.  I love this session!  I finally got to use my new baby boy basket...I think it must be pretty cozy.
Big sister is all grins for her baby brother...
Cool chair, right?  It was in a dark room so we brought it outside.  I love doing at-home sessions!
Beautiful...
So tiny in his daddy's hands...
Does it get any cuter?
Yep, maybe it does when you put adorable big sis in the mix!
And there's more!  Click play on the photo show below to see more of one week old Mason's newborn session.

Big brother is a natural...
So sweet...
In a few weeks Addie will be out of this swaddle in a second, but for now she's cozy and cute as can be.
She's laying on a baby bed made by her great grandfather, one that her mom used to play with.  And the flower blossom hat?  Well, that's just icing on the cake :)

The "S" family's Baker Beach Session | Kim Lind, family photographer on location in San Francisco, CA

The last time I photographed the "S" family was on the beach in Capitola.  This time we headed to San Francisco, and this time there's a baby brother!
 Love this one...
 Aren't they a beautiful family?
Not trick photography, just a baby balancing in his daddy's palm.  Cool!
 Thanks for a fun afternoon!

A holiday session with the "A" family | Kim Lind, family photographer, San Ramon Valley

It's been a year since I've photographed these two handsome guys.  We meet last weekend for a morning holiday session in San Ramon.

 Love these smiles!

Mom and dad together...if you're planning to do a holiday session take just a minute for a shot of just the parents.  After all, here is where it all began...

The "P" Family hits the beach! | Kim Lind family photographer, San Francisco, CA

This was a long time coming for this little guy...his first time at the beach!
At Baker Beach, it's never a guarantee that you will see the bridge through the fog.  We lucked out with a beautiful afternoon.
Gee, do you think he likes it?

The "M" family at home and in the gardens! | Kim Lind, on-location photographer, San Ramon, CA

Meet sweet baby Emily!
And her beautiful mommy and daddy.  They live close to one of my favorite outdoor locations, so they had a home session plus a bonus park setting too!
Christening gowns are so fancy, and Emily was very comfortable in hers.  I see lots of fancy in her future!
 Love this one...
And a little more fancy...tutu time!  Thanks, "M" family!

Jackie & Che, Married! | Brazil Room, Tilden Park, Berkeley, CA | Kim Lind on-location portrait and wedding photographer

Jackie and Che's wedding day was perfect in every way.  We started at the Claremont Resort in Berkeley, where Jackie and her bridesmaids got ready.  Her dress was absolutely beautiful!
The wedding took place at Tilden Park's Brazil Room in Berkeley.  Lush greenery abounds there.  It's an amazing venue!  And what a handsome groom...
Look up "radiant bride" in the dictionary and you ought to see Jackie's picture there.  She was an absolutely stunning bride.  Beaming, beautiful and gracious too.  No stresses, no worries, just a wonderfully happy bride.  And it shows, don't you think?
So many ceremony shots, but this one I just love.  I shot it through a flower arrangement, so there's some framing right around her face.  You can see he's smiling, and that look on her face, eyes welled with tears...love it.
Right after the ceremony we went to the Botanical Gardens - just Jackie, Che and me - for some solo portraits.  Jackie and Che went on one of their first dates here years ago, so it was not only the most gorgeous setting imaginable it also has a lot of meaning for them.
Both gardeners, Jackie and Che really love fall foliage.  This was shot paparazzi style through a tree!
The bridal party wore a perfect shade of coral that worked so well for an October 1 wedding.
First dance as a married couple!
More October colors in all the details.  I loved the centerpiece harvest baskets.
At every wedding I shoot, there's always a moment when I get a little choked up.  And this moment, the father and daughter dance and also the mother and son dance were so touching, it was that moment for me.  This is my all time favorite father/daughter dance shot.
Jackie and Che, may your life together be as beautiful as your wedding day.  It was an honor to be a part of such a loving celebration!

But wait, there's more!  Click play on the photo show below to see more of Jackie and Che's wedding!
