Molly Rose is four years old! | Kim Lind, portrait photography, Danville, CA

Well, it happened.  Another year went by at the speed of light.  I can hardly believe she's four years old now...this is Molly Rose.   My #2 child, only daughter and resident princess at the Lind household.
This one might be my favorite, even in sepia (which I hardly ever use!)
Four balloons, one for each year.  I love birthday photos with balloons...she will probably have to do this until she's 21!

Happy birthday my sweet girl!  Four will be fantastic!

Susan and Tim, engaged! | Kim Lind, engagement & wedding photographer on location in San Francisco, CA

The rain didn't stand a chance at stopping this engagement session from happening.  We were ready...umbrellas in hand, and my awesome assistant, Melissa, completely prepared to get drenched to protect the gear and help me get the shot.  Alas, all that planning and this is the only rainy day shot!  A puddle with a sea gull acting like he owns the place.  But in that reflection is one adorable couple, and this is one of my favorites of the day!
Susan and Tim are both raw vegans.  So what better place to start their engagement shoot than at the San Francisco Ferry Building Farmer's Market?  It's where they went on their second date.  I love this shot...love among the carrots.

So many colors at the market, it was really fun to shoot there!
Taking a moment to appreciate the music, the bridge, the bay...and of course each other!
 Save the date!

On our way to location two, with a quick stop along the Embarcadero.  We were out in the early morning hours to do the market, and as a bonus we were able to continue on without the usual afternoon crowds.  It's never too early for a little romance!

Wardrobe and location change! I love the bold red color of her dress with all the greenery.  And the way they look at each other sure doesn't hurt either!
The swans entered, as if on cue.  I'm shooting paparazzi style through a bush, and love the framing effect of the green leaves here...
Susan, Tim...I am absolutely thrilled to have met you and can't wait for your wedding in August!

Welcome, baby Reese! | Kim Lind newborn photographer, Danville, CA

I've been looking forward to meeting this little princess since I met her gorgeous mama and daddy at their maternity session a few weeks back.  (see here)  Isn't she precious?

Reese's grandma made lots of cute props for her, like this cocoon.  She also made hats and the adorable baby "bowl" that's above.  Lucky Reese!

Sweet dreams, baby girl!

T Turns One! | Kim Lind, baby photographer, Danville, CA

My friend Teigan here has been a client since he was just a few days old.   And now, he's celebrating the big one today.  How time flies with these little ones...I know his family has enjoyed every moment of this first year with this darling little guy.  Hurray for being one!
I just want to pick him up and hug him...he's so cute!
Classic cuteness here...

Here's one way to contain a one year old - put them IN something!
Happy Birthday big guy!  I had so much fun with you!

How fast time flies!  Little Emily here is one year old.  And what a cutie!

The "C" family + cheese! | Kim Lind family photographer, Danville, CA

Little brother, Jason, just turned two and boy does he love cheese.  Not just saying cheese, but holding it while he has his picture taken.  Pretty funny!  See what I mean?

We did a home session, to capture the birthday boy "doing his thing" and then just went outside onto he street for some great outdoor shots too.  Yay for cherry trees, I love these!

Happy birthday big guy!
