Newborn baby "P" and her family | Kim Lind family photography, Dublin, CA

Baby "P" arrived a little bit ahead of schedule, as babies often do. She probably just couldn't wait any longer to meet her parents - who are among most easy going and fun newborn parents I've had the pleasure to meet!

A perfect fit here in her mom and dad's arms...
So sleepy here, no amount of posing was going to wake her up. I think she's smiling a little bit...

Warm and cozy in a baby cocoon!

Looking right into the camera, checking out the world around her.

Sam the dog is just 8 months old. They're going to grow up together. I love this shot...

And just for dad...a little baby Husker...

Congratulations, and welcome to the world beautiful baby girl!

Fun Family of Three | Kim Lind family photography

Look at this happy family! Little "C" and his parents came out on a very cold afternoon in Livermore and were all smiles.

This is one easy-going little guy. And pretty adorable too!

Everyone always wants clear blue skies, but shots like this are so much nicer on a cloudy day with no shadows. I love cloudy days!

This is one of my favorite toddler poses. Right between mommy and daddy...perfect fit.

Last weekend I had the pleasure to do a home session with this beautiful family. It was pretty cold out, but we still managed to do quite a bit outside. I think in this first one he's snuggling in for warmth...but it still looks sweet.

Gorgeous, sparkly eyes on this 20 month old - can't say no to a face like this one!

Big brother is four and a half years old. These two are the same exact ages as my own kids. But this session was a lot easier than shooting my own kids - the two I quite often refer to as my toughest subjects! I'm not sure what he's thinking or doing here, but I love the pose.

Cute family!

Ho Ho Holiday session | Kim Lind family photography in San Ramon

Matching Christmas sweaters, Santa hats...this family has the holiday spirit!

I love that even the dog has a Christmas sweater! And he didn't seem to mind one bit. Cute!

Best buddies...
Beautiful, happy, merry and bright!

Mini-session: The "C" kids

Big C and little C are an adorable brother/sister pair! Here's a preview of their mini-session last weekend...

Love this one...a toddler on the move has better things to do than to sit still and hold his baby sister on his lap. But he did it, and he did great!

Check out this pose! I'd love to know what she's thinking, wouldn't you?

Such a cute little guy!

The "R" family at the gardens | San Ramon family photography

I first met the "R" family when we did newborn shots of the littlest member of the family about four months ago. They are such a cute family - and these kids just keep getting cuter!

Grandma and Grandpa were visiting for Thanksgiving and were able to join in. I see a Christmas present here...

Look at these two happy girls and their adoring big brother. So sweet! Thanks "R" family for a great session!

Mini-session: The "B" Family

This family of five came out to the gardens for a mini session last weekend. Knowing that they had a two year old and 9 month old twins, I padded the time a little just in case we need more. But what an easy session this was! Smiling, happy kids like these don't need any extra time!

Look at these happy babies!

Mom and one of her girls.

I love this one of the boys!

Thanks "B" family for a great morning session!

Family portraits and a cake smash | Kim Lind family photographer, Pleasanton, CA

This photo session was on little "O's" very first birthday. So we took lots of great family photos, like this one below....complete with DooDah the dog.

And sweet portraits of a very smiley big sister...

And both girls together in the window light...

And then...once all that was finished and we got lots of great photos of the family on "O's" birthday (look how happy she is!)...

It was time for cake! Needless to say, this session was a lot of fun! And a little messy, just as a baby's first birthday cake experience ought to be :)
