Asija & John, Married! | Kim Lind, SF Bay Area Wedding Photographer at the Sequoia Lodge, Oakland, CA

Asija and John were married this month in the most gorgeous setting at the Sequoia Lodge in the Oakland hills.  It was such a pleasure to take part in their big day.  The setting, the details, the bride and groom - all radiant!  Asija herself did all the flowers for her wedding day, and truthfully they were the most beautiful arrangements I've ever seen.  Don't forget to click play on the videoshow at the end to see a little more of Asija and John's most special day!

This is what I mean by radiant...
I don't often get "action" shots at wedding ceremonies, and  I love this one of them jumping the broom!
I love this venue!  It's not exactly what you think of when you think of Oakland, right?
Amazing detail work was everywhere at this wedding!
Some of the gorgeous flower arrangements made by Asija...

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Wuorenmaa!  This videoshow may take a moment to load, but it's worth it!

Fall Family Fun | Kim Lind family photographer, Pleasanton/Livermore, CA

Locations around our area are really beautiful at this time of year.  I love fall photo sessions!  This family bid on a charity auction for a session with me, with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen fund - a cause that's very important to me.  I'm thrilled they were the winners! Their twin boys were a lot of fun.  I love the plaid shirts!

It took both mom and dad to get this out of the car.  This is one big, perfect pumpkin!  Thanks "S" family for a fun fall session!

The Littlest Pumpkin | Kim Lind baby/family photographer, Alamo, CA

Meet the newest addition to the "G" family, and the cutest little pumpkin I've ever seen!

He joins an adoring big brother and big sister.  No wonder he's all smiles!

3 month olds can't sit on their own.  I found a solution!  Carve pumpkin, insert baby, take photos....this was too much fun!!

The "M" family at Baker Beach | Kim Lind Photography, San Francisco, CA

October really is the best time of year in the city I love most...look at that - - no fog!  And look at this beautiful family....what a fun session!
They're blessed with 5 year old twin girls, who were a ton of fun.  Great energy, and great smiles!

Big smiles but nobody's saying "cheeeeese!!"  I love a family portrait that shows interaction, relationship, love and happiness.  I think this one has it all.

Thanks, "M" family, for a great session in the sand!

Baby Audrey, 5 weeks | Kim Lind baby/child/family photographer, Walnut Creek, CA

This little sweetheart was born in late August, and look how big she already is!  Big eyes, focusing in all all the action around her.  Welcome to the world, Audrey!

It wasn't too long ago that I did big brother's newborn photos!  I love this tender moment...

Sweetly sleeping...always at great way to end a session!  Congratulations, "T" family, on your newest addition!

Bee-utiful morning with my baby girl

Now that my oldest is in Kindergarten everyday, Molly and I have the chance to do some fun things all by ourselves. And what's fun for me?  Taking pictures of course!  At 2.5, this is the first time she was really excited about mommy taking pictures of her.  It's ALL about the outfit!

Halloween is such a fun time for kids.  If you've got a session coming up, or if you're thinking about booking one, consider bringing your kids' costumes along for a few fun photos.  Take the pressure off of Halloween night and get the photos done early...that's what I did!
