Remember the Alamo (house!)

I met this great family at their home in Alamo for a mostly indoor shoot.  They will soon be moving out of the area, and mom wanted a "lifestyle" session - photos of her son playing with his trains, Daddy reading in their favorite spot, and of course photos of their amazingly cute 4 month old baby girl.  I love sessions like this.  One day they can look back and remember just what it was like right now - the real stuff.  I'm all for a perfectly posed family shot, but these everyday moments and shots of families interacting with one another are such fun for me.   I get to help preserve memories this way, because believe me I know how fast time goes by with two little ones!

More fun at Daffodil Hill

Evan just turned 4 and here's a sneak peek at his session on Daffodil Hill last week.  The blooms are just about finished for the year and I'm so glad we got a chance squeeze this fun session in.  I love the shot of him holding the bouquet of flowers - what mom wouldn't melt seeing that?  (by the way, I picked up the bouquet at good old Trader Joe's...we try to leave Daffodil Hill in tact for all to enjoy!)
I think every kid deserves a reward at the end of a photoshoot.  And I think Evan was quite happy with his!  That was a fun series to shoot, and fun to play around with in Photoshop as well.

Spring has sprung!

Here's a sneak peek from Saturday's session.  What fun it was to follow this little guy around, watching him explore the grass and flowers (and taste them too!)  Daffodil Hill in Livermore is a beautiful setting for springtime photos.  The grass is as green as can be, the flowers in shades of yellow and white...it's a bright and happy place.

If you are interested in a springtime session on Daffodil Hill, I have weekday availability as well as some weekend spots open over the next two weeks, which is about as long as the daffodils will be there.  And I've extended my "website building prices" through April!  Email me at kimlindphoto@gmail.com or call 925-216-0213 to book a session.
