Through The Years: The DeMello Family | Shelter in Place Project 2020

The DeMello family would normally be at the pool or on the baseball field most days of the week.  And now, they're just at home like the rest of us.  But look at their smiles!  They were one of the two front porch photos I did before I switched to the selfies sent to me by my clients.  Erin and I are Co-Presidents of our kids' swim team together.   Many summer hours (and plenty of non-summer hours too!) have been spent together planning/volunteering/cheering on our team.  I'm missing it so much right now...and I know this crew is too.  Thank you DeMello family!  And go Stingrays :)

Through The Years: The Lee Family | Shelter in Place Project 2020

Well, this one was fun to put together!  Engagement Session, Wedding, Gender Reveal, Maternity, Newborn, Maternity, Newborn...what a great ride it's been with the Lees!  And Facebook informed me today that it's Jessica's birthday.  Jessica - I hope you had as good of a quarantine birthday as possible!  And that this brings you many reasons to smile :)

Through The Years: The Barrere Family | Shelter in Place Project 2020

I'm excited to share a new project, and love that it's starting off with the Barrere family!  They're great friends and neighbors I've known since 2011 when we moved to our amazing street.  I've had the pleasure of being the kids' art teacher at Vista Grande too.  My favorite photo of this family is the last one in the video before the selfie...I love a good laughing shot!

Through The Years - a new project starting tomorrow!

Maybe you've seen the front porch pictures that are happening all over the country during this Shelter In Place/Quarantine strange time that we're living in.  I started a front porch project...and promptly stopped once the restrictions here in Contra Costa County were extended further out.  This is not to knock any of the great photographers out there doing front porch projects, kudos to you and please stay safe!  I just decided I could put my own spin on it...thus, the Through The Years with Kim Lind Photography project!

I hope you love it as much as I do!  Look for my first post featuring the Barrere family on Monday!

xoxo,
Kim
