Springtime portraits with the "S" family | Kim Lind, family photographer in San Ramon, CA

This little guy is one of my "baby plan" clients, which means over the course of his first year we'll do at least three sessions (see my website for details!) It's a thrill for me because I love getting to know my clients, and watching these babies grow from newborns to walkers is a real treat.

How cute is this little guy?!?

Playing with big sister...I love the golden sunlight coming through the flowers.

You can hear the laughter here, can't you?

Think she's a daddy's girl? This is an example of one of my storyboards. They're 10x20 in size, and mounted so that they can be either framed or displayed on a table top easel (which I think looks pretty cool!) I think this one is really sweet. There's just something about dads and their little girls, isn't there?
Her Mother's Day gifts are right here in her arms. Though this photo on the wall would be a great gift too!
Sometimes photos just strike me. I never know if people will get the same emotion I get from them, or love them as much as I do, but I really do love this photo. This is the kind of moment I love for my clients to have preserved forever, and why I love what I do so much.

Thanks to the "S" family for another great session!

The newest little brother | Kim Lind newborn and family photography, Danville, CA

I had the pleasure to meet baby Matthew at just a little under two weeks old. He was so sweet, quiet and calm. And his brothers were a crack up! The oldest is 5, the middle brother is just barely 2, and at two weeks the little guy seems to fit right in. Baby Matthew is going to be entertained throughout his entire childhood with these two! Congratulations to mom and dad on their newest, wonderful, little baby boy.

Here's a video sneak peek at our session, enjoy!

At home with the "A" family | Kim Lind family photographer, Danville CA

Meet another baby plan client who just turned one! To mark the occasion, we did a backyard family session last weekend. It was colder than any of us had planned on, but at least the rain stayed away - if only for a day. Bring on the sunshine! Here's a little preview of our fun session...

Happy, cute family!

I love this one...one day he'll be taller than his mama but here he looks so tiny and sweet hugging her leg.

This one makes me laugh. Big brother is ready to take a picture and little brother says, "I'm outta here!"

Thanks "A" family for a great morning!

The five minute maternity session | Kim Lind Photography, Pleasanton, CA

What's a photographer to do when one of her best friends comes to town, only has time for a quick lunch, and happens to be 7 months pregnant? A five minute maternity session! No time for fine dining, so we ordered pizza slices at a counter, went around the corner to shoot against this great brick wall, and were back in time for some giant slices of pizza and good conversation.

I've known these two since college, and they're about to have their third baby. Can't wait to meet her/him! And you can count on me having my camera nearby when I do :)

Baby Declan, 5 weeks old | Kim Lind family photographer, San Ramon

It seems to be baby season around here, and I couldn't be happier! There just can't be a better work day than spending a few hours with these tiny people and their new parents. Baby Declan, at 5 weeks old, sure is a cute little guy! Click on the arrow below, turn up the volume a bit, and play a short 30-second preview of his session. Then, if you're like me, dry your eyes... and play again :)
